Visiting Caffe Sole has been a real treat after having to deal with standard cookie-cutter coffee shops elsewhere in the nation. Caffe Sole roasts their own beans right in town that they use for their signature blend, so I've never had a cup of coffee there that tastes stale or burnt like some national chains. The prices for drinks are reasonable; I haven't paid more than $2 for a good-sized cup of coffee there, and the iced drinks and specialty drinks don't run over $5. The staff is always very friendly, and quite skilled at making a variety of different drinks. The atmosphere of the cafe is upbeat and community-oriented; live musicians perform there some evenings, and there are always a great mix of interesting people there. I found the pastry and food selection to be excellent, and I have particularly enjoyed the Breggos and burritos that I've had.
