The Cat Hospital of Chicago PC, located at 2851 W. Irving Park Road, is an exceptionally good facility to manage your cat’s varied health care needs. And, the “cat-friendly” attitude of the staff and visitors puts all the feline patients completely at ease while being cared for or waiting for treatment. Although patients are not allowed to congregate or engage in games of “cat-and-mouse” in the waiting rooms and hallways, the calm atmosphere of kindness and encouragement throughout the hospital has a strong influence on the overall mood and state-of-mind of each animal.

Veterinarians, surgeons, nurses, therapists and vet aides all work together to create and maintain a professional, yet individualized treatment plan for each cat, keeping in mind his or her special situation and medical requirements. As in human hospitals, some cats have serious illnesses or ailments to be treated, while others are there for ambulatory treatments following an illness or accident. Some need surgery, and many others have come in for tests or even a thorough annual check-up. Some are on drug treatment plans, while others are just happy to see the vet for a follow-up appointment and then get back home for their afternoon catnip. But, regardless of the nature of their immediate medical needs, it’s great for their owners to know that these cats are getting the very best of care in a high-tech and modern-management facility of highest levels of quality, care-giving and pussycat treatment.
