Protests, the active stance against war, and even refusal of financial support from big business are seen as anti-American. Few people have taken the time to read and understand the position of the Green Party, especially in Santa Clara County, where the foundational issues are at the heart of American interests.
Politicians are saying American politics are designed around a two party system. The policy and call to action of the Green Party endangers the comfort of long time political parties. Santa Clara County Green Party members remain steadfast in their belief for a safe, clean environment, social justice and anti-war stance among other pro-American policy. Take time to understand the issues, and regardless of agreement with methods, the involvement at the grass roots levels of the political machine is having a beneficial influence.
