For fast service and a highly efficient staff, Memorial Hospital's Laboratory at Printer's Parkway on Union is by far the best. I've had labs drawn here monthly for the last year and I've never had a wait of more than 10 minutes. Just step into the main lab and give your lab order or information about your faxed order to the receptionist. They'll send you across the hall where a clerk registers your information into the computer system. Within a few minutes you're sent back across the hall where a phlebotomist escorts you to the back room for your lab draw. The phlebotomists at this location are highly trained and very professional. After they draw your blood or receive your urine specimen they have you verify the computer generated labels that have your name, the lab test(s), the date and time and an accession number. Although all of the laboratory tests are performed at the main hospital, the hospital's efficient courier system makes hourly deliveries to the lab at the main campus.
