The Sidewalk Cafe is a unique Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of Addison. There are hookahs hanging from hooks on the wall which makes for an interesting décor. I was a little surprised the hookahs were on the menu, but hey, when in Addison, right? It’s $12.00 for a hookah with a $5.00 refill. The tobacco comes flavored in mango, mint, strawberry, cherry and apple to name a few. The hookahs are only available at the café’s outside tables.

The food is plentiful and good. The naam and dolmades deserve a special mention and they have a dish called “The Tour” which is a sampler of the Sidewalk Café’s popular menu items and it is enough to fill you up.

The café is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a coffee bar where you can order fresh brewed coffee, island smoothies and a variety of teas. They have live music at times otherwise you listen to generic Mediterranean background music. The service is quick, the staff is very friendly and you‘ll want to return again and again to this unique café.
