A Home Away From Home
South Side Johnny’s on Tejon in downtown Colorado Springs is our favorite place to stop for a drink and a great meal. Johnny and his staff are always friendly and make their guests feel right at home. The décor at Johnny’s is so unique it’s always fun to see what new mounted creatures he’s found and what beads and glitz they’re wearing. Over the years as the menu at South Side Johnny’s has evolved with the times, we’ve been pleased with the emphasis on healthy fare. Some of our favorites include the barbecued chicken wings, Cobb salad, BLT salad, and the enchilada plate. Despite having favorites, we’re never in a rut because the menu always seems to have something new added whenever we stop in for lunch or dinner. For a friendly atmosphere, a crowd that spans the ages, and a pleasant meal, Johnny’s is the place to go.
